I mean the wooden ones not the plastic ones of today's. I loved my little rocking horse and I remember I had a red Annie Oakley outfit complete with leather fringe, cowgirl boots and cap guns. Boy those were the times. This reminds me so much of my little pony.

This image is GARNER he is a re-release. Doesn't he look like he'd make a great anniversary, love, happy birthday, I'm sorry, get well --heck any card?

I decided to make a tag, it's quite big 3x8 but I wanted the image to be large enough to color and I knew what I wanted to do.. Shock - as I have a mind block when it comes to tags. I love how it came out. I have a whole box full of assorted yarns and chose some awesome yarns to go on the tag.

 This is the card I made for the Sunday Stella Sketch 124. I used Ruby Christmas tree image. Woo Hoo another Christmas card made.  I used lots of old papers, I have about 4 12x12 Christmas pads and just chose papers that I thought looked good together. I used some old stars from my local craft store. I felt that the left side of the card was too bare. I like the way the stars kind fill that void.

 My card for the sketch. I did a dry embossing technique I saw on someones blog .. sorry I don't remember who's.. it's been a long long time..it's where you take the embossing folder and rub ink on the inside top design, carefully put in your card front and close it, then run through your favorite embossing machine. When you remove it you have a wonderful design with the ink giving a additional color to your design.

Today we have HUNTING NUT as the free image. I had some scraps of papers on my desk which I had used for other cards and a calendar page I made. I thought hum... the way they were just laying around though I'll make a background out of them so I just sized, fitted and got the look I wanted and then cut the cute little hunting nut out using my spellbinder die and colored him. I needed a sentiment and remembered I just received a cute "falling for you" stamp set from Taylored Expression so I took the "nuts about you" and punched it out using two different size circle. I am not a hunter but live in the country and there are a lot of hunter nuts around this time of year. So I probably can sell it at our little store. :)

I like this is a cute couple and just right for Christmas cards and love that Mrs. Clause is included with Santa.. I used some designer paper with holiday/ Santa wording on the paper and the chevron dies to dress up the background.  I also like that another Christmas card is made.. it's a win win situation..

It's my first day back to work since my three surgeries and I have been off work since Aug. 23, 2012. (and a month since the last one) I just hope I can stay awake all day..LOL  wish me luck.

I chose to use the sock monkey digi by Catch the bug.. He's got a cute little tail and I love this glittered animal paper that has a darling monkey on it (plus pigs and part of an elephant). I have a sock monkey that my grandma made many many years ago. I love him. I thought this card would be cute for a birthday card no matter what age and or just a friendship card.

I chose Sean, he reminds me of my grandsons. The background is washi tape. I am loving this tape. Such an easy way to add colors - I love -love-love how it came out. Really fresh looking and kind of kept his cloths along the same color theme. Did I say I love this card?

I tried to give the wave to the sentiment putting a dimension behind the happy part. Hope it comes out in the photo. Plus I raised the white paper from the green layer.. I want spring to come now that I look at this. In time : )

Welcome to November. It's a great month because it's my birthday month, my son's birthday. I am over my health issues (having three surgeries in three months) and going back to work on the 13th. Wow won't that be a big change.. 

I hope your have a great month. Still praying for those with weather issues. It's that time of year and I pray that this years winter will be a mild safe one for all.
